Deep Creek Camping and Events is a family-owned campground and events venue nestled along the beautiful Pembina River right in the heart of Sangudo, Alberta. Owned and operated by two generations of the Shura family, Ray, Jacque, Corrie, and Tara, this welcoming destination opened in 2018 and has grown into one of the most beloved summer spots in Lac Ste. Anne County. The name “Deep Creek” is a proud nod to Sangudo’s original settlers and the rich heritage of the area.

Guests enjoy a sandy river beach perfect for swimming and tubing, a large playground, an 18-hole mini golf course, rental pedal karts, walking trails, ball diamonds, horseshoe pits, and a full calendar of family fun events throughout the summer season. The on-site Deep Creek General Store stocks 30 flavours of Foothills Creamery hard ice cream, camping essentials, local vendor homemade items, snacks, and more. Cozy riverside cabins are also available for those looking for a relaxing getaway. The campground is open May through September with 60 sites available for booking online.
