Established in 2018, the farm raises registered purebred Painted Desert Sheep, a striking hair breed known for vivid coloration, impressive horn growth, and a natural ability to shed their coats each spring without shearing. All Painted Desert animals on the farm are registered with the Painted Desert Sheep Society, and the farm holds lifetime membership in that organization, reflecting their serious commitment to breed standards. The farmers focus on producing healthy, vigorous animals with strong bodies, straight legs, and exceptional natural traits.

Rounding out the operation, Still Heron Farm also keeps a small herd of registered Nubian Dairy Goats, whose rich milk is used on-farm for cream, butter, and homemade cheeses, as well as a diverse flock of heritage chickens including Barred Rocks, Ameraucanas, and Wyandottes.
