Located just outside the friendly town of Mayerthorpe in Lac Ste. Anne County, Touchstone Farm is one of Alberta’s most respected equine breeding and training operations. Founded over 40 years ago, the farm has grown to earn an international reputation for producing quality Canadian Warmblood and Hanoverian horses that excel in the disciplines of Hunter/Jumper and Dressage. With more than a hundred horses and decades of hands-on experience, Touchstone is a facility where craftsmanship, care, and a deep love for the horse come together every single day.

Touchstone Farm is primarily a breeding facility, producing amateur-to-elite level Warmblood offspring from both imported and home-grown breeding stock. Horses from the Touchstone program have proven themselves on national and international stages, and the farm’s partnership with other respected Alberta equine operations helps bring these talented youngsters into competitive careers.
