The Onoway Farmers’ Market is a beloved community gathering place right in the town of Onoway, Alberta. Sponsored by the Onoway and District AG Society and recognized as an Alberta Approved Farmers’ Market, it is a unique small-town market providing a place to find special gifts, local produce and plants, and handcrafted and natural products. The Alberta Approved Farmers’ Market program’s 80/20 Rule ensures that at least 80 per cent of the vendors are Albertans who make, bake, or grow the products they are selling, so every purchase directly supports a local producer or maker.

The Onoway Farmers’ Market features arts and crafts, baked goods, beverages, chocolates and candy, clothing and wearables, eggs and dairy, fruits and berries, herbs, grains and spices, home and health, honey and maple, meat and fish, plants and flowers, vegetables, and much more. Free admission, free parking, a beautiful country drive, and a family-friendly atmosphere make this a wonderful outing for visitors and locals alike. Come rain or shine, the market brings the community together in a spirit of local pride and fresh goodness.
