Ingredients
- 4 bell peppers
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe
- Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF.
- Cut off the tops of the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the beef is browned.
- Add the cooked rice, diced tomatoes, salt, black pepper, oregano, and basil. Stir to combine.
- Stuff the mixture into the bell peppers and place them in a baking dish.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the peppers are tender.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the peppers and return to the oven for 5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
